We regret to hear about your feedback and would like to apologize for your less-than-ideal experience with Lunch Actually. We have spoken to you directly since you posted your feedback here, however we want to take this opportunity to address your concerns publicly, for transparency and the benefits of other readers as well.

Firstly, we did acknowledge the lapse of communication between our dating consultant and yourself. Pauline left the company in Oct 2017, and soon as we came across your feedback on this website that you posted that month, we assigned another dating consultant to follow-up with you on your membership.

Since then we also have reviewed our communication process when a consultant is no longer with our company to ensure that such lapse of communication won't happen again. We have strengthened our SOP for smooth service transition for our clients by working as a team.

Lunch Actually is a premium matchmaking service and our clients are eligible professionals. Because of this, naturally they do have certain expectations and preferences in their matches; which is normal. We would like to assure you that the singles in our database are serious about finding their special someone to settle down with. When we do receive feedback from our member that their match does not seem to be serious, we do take it seriously and review his/her past date feedback. We have terminated the memberships of such past clients if we do notice similar feedback from multiple singles.

We do take your feedback seriously and wish to really help you in your dating journey. Since you do have 1 date left with us, we will continue to look for more matches, based on your previous date feedback. Alternatively, we are also open to transfer your membership to our sisters companies, esync or LunchClick which also boasts serious singles database.

My name is Shamala. I enroll has member last year on 08/10/2016 from a friend who was working part time at Lunch Actually Jalan Bangsar Kuala Lumpur as he mentioned about me to an associate named Pauline Lee.

So she interviewed me and request me to pay deposit of RM50.00 and the fee was RM3,800.00 discounted me about 14.5%(cos my friend) and request me to pay the remaining balance. So I promised her I'll bank-in on Monday but initially I was on medical leave on that day. Pauline Lee called me requested when will I bank-in the balance as the way she persuade me. Put trust on her that I'll meet my right person from their company sorry I'm being cheated.

When I call to convey to the staff at Lunch Actually he would say "I'll inform Pauline to call you." but no call from her till now she silent. I've went two dates who is not serious at all to start know me as a friend. Ain't worth at all. Because this my hard earn money.

Even I'm thinking whether to go final date they recommend now.

Pauline Lee never inform me the member's had professional career and have high demand and expectation on their dates. Just fix when the man said "yes" for the date.
